Sep. 28--CEDAR FALLS -- When the NU High football team took the field Thursday night they had two things in mind: Win the game and minimize the potent Green Mountain-Garwin ground attack.

The Panthers accomplished both feats, collecting a 26-7 win in the UNI-Dome and allowing just 34 yards on the ground to the Wolverines.

The Panthers shut down the elusive Wade Raymond, who had rushed for more than 700 yards in his first four games. Raymond finished with just 18 yards on as many carries.
