Sep. 28--Rolling Stone magazine reported this evening that Madonna, the Beastie Boys, and the Dave Clark Five, are among nine acts nominated for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame next year.
The Web site posted a press release issued by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation.
The press release and the Rolling Stone report says the other acts are Leonard Cohen, Afrika Bambaataa, John Mellencamp, the Ventures, Donna Summer and Chic.
