Sep. 28--Not only did the Gophers lose 44-0 at Ohio State in Ernie Wheelwright's first college game in front of his hometown fans last year, he also didn't have a catch.

During a three-game stretch last season, Wheelwright had only four catches for 32 yards, which included being shut out against the school he grew up watching.

Last year's blowout loss to Ohio State was a wakeup call for Wheelwright. A year later, the 6-foot-5, 215-pound senior receiver hopes to have a better showing against the eighth-ranked Buckeyes (4-0) ...
