CRAY RESEARCH GETS LARGE ORDER FROM FRENCH ATOMIC ENERGY COMMISSION

EAGAN, Minn., April 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Cray Research, Inc. (NYSE: CYR) announced today that it has received a large order for multiple systems from the Commissariat a l'Energie Atomique, Division de Applications Militaires -- the military research division of the French Atomic Energy Commission. The order was received in first quarter and includes Cray's newest high-end supercomputer, a CRAY T932 system slated to be installed later this year at the commission's computer center near Paris. Terms were not disclosed.
