The escalating cost of medical care continues at the sacrifice of economic development. An analysis of costs for health care shows that too often clinical procedures or diagnostics testing add unnecessary costs to the health service. The problem lies with the perceptions of the patient as to what is health care as well as with the medical personnel. The sense of well-being that medical care is supposed to bring to the patient may come at an unnecessarily high price.
