CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Domestic yarn spinners have been able to raise their prices somewhat, but not nearly enough to cover the amount of raw material price increases they have bad to absorb since last fall.
They say it's a dogfight trying to get their prices up because their customers are also frustrated trying to get their prices up.
"We hear that the retailers are the roadblock because they say they're just not going to pay higher prices," said one spinner.
