ONE KILLED, SIX INJURED IN POLICEMEN-ARMYMEN CLASH IN TERNATE.

Ternate, North Maluku, Sept. 24 (ANTARA): A clash erupted here early Monday morning between police and army men killing one policeman, wounding four others while two of the army men were also injured.
The policeman, identified as Chrisman (20), was stabbed to death by an armyman near the Ternate Police office while the injured police and army men suffered gunshot wounds. They were rushed to nearby hospitals in Ternate to get medical treatment. There was no immediate official explanation about the clash from the Ternate police or army command. However, ...
