Seymour volleyball team bets Madison: SHS, BC golfers fail to advance.

Sep. 24--Seymour's varsity volleyball team went 1-1 Saturday morning at Bedford, while Trinity Lutheran placed second in the Cougar Invitational.

The season came to an end for the Seymour and Brownstown Central golfers in the Martinsville regional as none of them qualified for the state finals.

Seymour defeated Madison 25-13, 25-16, before losing to Bedford North Lawrence 25-18, 25-15.

The Owls had 37 attack kills with Kristin Turner leading the team with 16, and Jessica Taskey added 10.
