"Photography was something I had been casually interested in for a long time, but I started to pursue it during college. I realized pretty quickly photography--landscape photography in particular--offered a wonderful combination of things I love," says photographer, author and instructor Stephen Johnson. "It gave me a reason to be outdoors, which was a crucial part of my life. I had also always had a fascination with technology, and photography fit perfectly with that."
