Sep. 19--BROKEN ARROW -- The new city logo that the City Council officially adopted Monday is similar to the logo of the Kansas City, Mo., company that created it.

But representatives of the company and the city said there's no correlation.

"We used an element that would create a distinct visual image for the city of Broken Arrow," Kuhn and Wittenborn spokesman Brian Martorana said. "Our logo symbolizes what we do, and it wasn't a part of the design process for the city of Broken Arrow.

"This was just an absolute coincidence."
