Sep. 17--Once a commodity sought primarily by Hispanics for use in cooking a variety of Southwestern-style dishes, the Pueblo chile has become a delicacy consumed by all ethnic groups.
The Pueblo chile, termed by some local growers as the mirasol chile, has made its way into various meals. It's served as toppings on sandwiches and pizza, eaten with steaks and burgers, mixed with pasta and even baked in bread.
