LABOUR federation Cosatu is planning to strike against the provincial government's decision to implement a fuel levy in the Western Cape.

Cosatu said the fuel levy is being implemented "against the wishes of society".

Cosatu said it has filed a |Section 77 notice with the National Economic Development and Labour Council to enable it to strike against the provincial government's decision to implement the levy.
