Sep. 16--Between April 28 and May 14, seven soldiers from the 1st Battalion, 15th Infantry Regiment, were killed in the Iraqi community of Salman Pak, all by either roadside bombs or small arms fire.
Since then, the town has been relatively peaceful and casualty free.
