Sep. 15--Andrew D. Pascal probably will learn Monday if he will face a death-penalty hearing.

Pascal, 22, is charged with homicide in the May 14, 2006, shooting death of Marcellus McDuffie in the parking lot of Larry Holmes' Ringside Restaurant and Lounge in Easton. Northampton County First Deputy District Attorney Terry Houck wants a first-degree murder conviction. If that were to happen, jurors would hear testimony and determine if Pascal should live or die.
