Sep. 13--In the coming weeks, businesses along Saddle Creek Road will be contacted about the possibility of shifting the road to the west.

Some owners of potentially affected businesses said today they want as much information as possible on how any relocation would impact their operations.

The project, which is intended to make way for expansion of the University of Nebraska Medical Center, got a $2 million boost Wednesday from Nebraska's two U.S. senators in the form of a federal earmark.
