Vatican City -- The Vatican library is to be dosed for three years. The 16th-century building that houses the library has serious structural problems, and efforts to move some 300,000 volumes elsewhere away from the weak spots has not been a solution. The library will now also be reorganized, and air conditioning and elevators will be added. The library was founded by Pope Nicolas V in 1450. (Zenit, June 25, 2007).
