Sep. 8--In between the high-pitched hoots and boisterous "West side!" chants echoing from the postgame celebration Friday night at Pine Forest, Milton Butts managed to quiet his players long enough to extend his heartfelt gratitude.

"That was an incredible effort," Butts gushed, his right fist punching the air. "Tonight, this was a true sign of character."
