Ascension Health named five of its executives to oversee regional operations in a half-dozen states as part of a reorganization of the 64-hospital system unveiled in December 2006.

The handful of Ascension executives are the last of nine to be named as ministry market leaders within St. Louis-based Ascension, the nation's largest not-for-profit health system.
