Sep. 7--PANAMA CITY -- The death of Denslow Trumbull Jr. on Wednesday marked the loss of a community leader, affecting both family, local residents, civic groups and employees of Culligan Water Conditioning, which Trumbull worked to expand with his father beginning in 1950.

"He didn't just know people; he knew them personally, particularly his employees," said Denslow's son, Jay Trumbull.
