MIAMI _ Incest, society's dirtiest secret, lives in a fog of taboo and mystery.

A Jacksonville, Fla., caseworker for the state department of Health and Rehabilitative Services, who asked not to be identified by name, said that in her five years of handling sexual abuse complaints, she saw incest in every kind of household.
