Many scientists have tried to explain the mysterious unbreakable material which Pliny and other Roman historians documented. Some speculated that it was aluminum or silver chloride. However, these hypotheses have been debunked by the absence of artifacts made from such materials. The main question that many scientists have failed to address is whether the story of the unbreakable material was true.
