Grahamstown's name still irks president.(News)

If President Thabo Mbeki had his way, Grahamstown would change its name.

This is the second time in less than a year that Mbeki has told MPs he has a problem with the Eastern Cape town named after Colonel John Graham, who "did terrible things".

Replying to questions in Parliament yesterday, the president said: "He did bad things in that conflict on the border, but he was a member of the Scottish aristocracy.
