The Boston Public Library is offering its city's local music scene on its Web site by adding albums of area bands to its online collection that already consists of audio books, music and videos available on a download-to-rent basis. Content from the library is available to users for any PC, compatible MP3 players, Pocket PCs and other devices.

The library recently added music from local band "The Blind King" to its download collection and made it available for free to thousands of libraries via digital resource sharing tool Community Reserve. The Blind King's recent albums, ...
