WARREN - Quaboag's Macey Gaumond remembers how lost she was as an eighth-grader for the Cougars' varsity squad.

"I was always the girl who forgot her user fee until like two weeks into the season when (coach) John (O'Neill) comes up to me and says he needs it or I can't play," Gaumond said.
