Aug. 25--After losing her husband to esophageal cancer, Victoria native Della Cameron used her suffering to help ease that of others. Della and her husband, the Rev. Donald C. Cameron II, a Presbyterian minister, were living in Sioux City, Iowa, when he was diagnosed with cancer in December of 2002. Over the next 15 months, the two, who were married for 22 years, struggled with what quickly became a terminal illness, taking the life of the 52-year-old minister in March of 2004.
