MENLO PARK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 11, 1995--In a move designed to strengthen the company's executive management team as it prepares for its next growth phase, Gupta Corporation today announced it has named Sam Inman, 44, president and chief operating officer.
Inman, most recently president and chief operating officer of Ingram Micro, built his career on a 21-year stint at IBM. In his new capacity at Gupta Corporation, Inman will share management of the company with Umang Gupta, co-founder, chairman and chief executive officer.
