COLUMN: LEICESTER NOTEBOOK

The Leicester School Committee holds its regular monthly meeting Monday, but it will be a meeting with barely a quorum - the only three members left on the committee.

It is hoped this will be the last time, because plans call for replacing the two committee members who resigned by September.

The School Committee had asked selectmen to hold a joint meeting, a requirement to replace a committee member, after vice chairman David Stanick resigned in early July. But before that situation had ...
