IGC SETTLES $3.5 MILLION SALE OF COMMERCIAL LAND AT PARQUE ESCORIAL

ST. CHARLES, Md., April 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Interstate General Company L.P. (AMEX: IGC), a diversified real estate organization, has completed a $3.5 million sale of 3.2 acres of commercial land in the planned community of Parque Escorial in metropolitan San Juan, Puerto Rico, to Compri Caribe Hospitality Corp. Compri also has contracted to purchase an additional 4.3 acres of adjacent commercial land at Parque Escorial for $3.4 million.

Compri is planning to develop the parcels for a variety of commercial uses, including fast food, banks and retail stores. The 3.2-acre ...
