REEDSPORT - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, at St. Jude Catholic Church in Reedsport for Crystal Carol Abel of Reedsport, who died July 7 of Alzheimer's disease. She was 78.

She was born Sept. 9, 1928, in Reedsport to Warren and Elsie Bates McWillis.

She married Charles Abel on June 29, 1946, in Reedsport.
