WORCESTER - The newest effort to improve the city's streets and neighborhoods has come in the form of a simple game that just about anyone can play for little more than a dollar.

The Worcester Rotary Club presented a ceremonial check of $10,000 for the project of renovating three of the city's handball courts at its August meeting yesterday at Club Maxine's, on Union Street near Lincoln Square.
