Magnus workers to get job help.

Aug. 18--About 750 local workers laid off by First Magnus Financial Corp. are being offered employment help via job fairs and other aid from the local mortgage industry, a government jobs agency and First Magnus itself.

About 10 companies have already agreed to be part of a job fair arranged by Stewart Title & Trust of Tucson and mortgage industry groups, said Wendy Whitehead of Stewart Title.

"We just want to come together as a community and help each other out," she said.
