THE title says it all... The Cavern: The Greatest Club in the World is a triple album now released from EMI/ Universal.

It is being trumpeted next Wednesday in the place where it all began - 10 Mathew Street.

Fifty artists are on the album which chronicles the greatest, most famous rock venue which was born January 16 1957 and is here in Liverpool.

The Beatles played there 292 times, but so to did a galaxy of musicians later to become global stars.
