Aug. 15--NEW YORK -- It had to be one of the most surreal scenes to take place in a major league stadium this year, if not this decade.
Joba Chamberlain stood by his locker -- right next to Roger Clemens' locker, by the way -- in a corner of the New York Yankees' clubhouse on Monday night, and out of the training room appeared Derek Jeter.
The eight-time all-star, most eligible bachelor in New York and captain of the Yankees walked right toward the rookie pitcher and patted Chamberlain on the back.
