I started getting apple worms and powdery mildew (on my 'Anna' and 'Granny Smith' apple trees). I did some dormant spraying and that seemed to stop the apple worms for a few years. However, my apple trees have not been going dormant in the last few years so I have been hesitant to use the dormant disease control products. What is the best way to control these worms? I use Neem oil but still get powdery mildew on lower and internal branches.
