Aug. 11--EDWARDSVILLE -- Associate Judge Kyle Napp's career as a prosecutor was always about the victims and their families, and one family recently rewarded her with a comment that brought her to tears.

"Thank you for restoring my faith in the justice system," a relative of a murder victim told her.

"And that's what it's all about for us," Napp said at her swearing-in ceremony as associate judge Friday at the Madison County Courthouse.
