Taiyuan Yiwei and Alconix construct joint magnesium facility

Shanghai. August 9. INTERFAX-CHINA - Taiyuan Yiwei Magnesium Co. Ltd.

and Jasdaq-listed Alconix Corporation have begun joint construction on a magnesium facility in Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province, a Taiyuan Yiwei official told Interfax today.

"The joint project has a designed capacity of 6,000 tons of magnesium per annum, and is scheduled to commence initial-stage production next month," a Taiyuan Yiwei official, surnamed Shen, said.
