The aromatic extraction unit of Lanzhou Petrochemical Company Ltd. (LPC) produced the first batch of benzene, toluene and xylene in Lanzhou, Gansu province on June 23rd, 2007. It shows that the 400 000 t/a aromatic extraction unit with a total investment of RMB161 million has started production in LPC and becomes the biggest aromatic extraction unit in the western region of China.
