Fish and seafood industry in Vietnam needs more cold storage.(Warehousing World)

There's a whole lot of construction going on in Ho Chi Minh City and at Vietnam's Mekong Delta container port. But there still is a shortage of public refrigerated warehouse (PRW) capacity, according to recent field research in the region.

Above-average rates for handling and storage that Vietnamese PRW operators have received in recent years have attracted various foreign investors from, among others countries, Japan, Korea, Malaysia and the USA. These new players in the Vietnamese market are either now constructing new facilities or finalizing their plans.
