SOMETIMES, there is more to a win than meets the eye. Take the case of Tommy Spar. While it was creditable enough for him to land the feature race on this card - the 2m4f handicap chase - for the second successive year, what made it even more credit worthy is that he fractured a pastern in this race a year ago and is something of a walking, galloping miracle.
