A CONSTANTIA woman has lost a Cape High Court bid to interdict a painter of "soul portraits" from copying what she claimed were portraits of herself and her daughter in producing a deck of tarot cards.

The court has ordered her to pay the costs of the application.

Susan Emily Pitt painted portraits of Belinda Jane Diem, her husband and three children in 2000.
