IT SEEMS an impossible task, but theatre director Kei Bailey insists that it can be done. In just 10 days, he is rehearsing a cast of 120 for a musical that will run next week over three days at the Liverpool Empire.

Bailey is putting on a stage production of the show Summer Holiday with a company of young performers ranging in age between ten and 21.

It is a new project for the Empire, too. Under new owners Live Nation, they have never staged a show of their own.
