Previously we learnt about key legislations and policies that were introduced to reverse the discriminatory practices associated with apartheid education and the move towards an education system that is built on respect for the rights of all learners.
We also noted that all of the legislation associated with education is guided by the strong values present in our constitution - respect for diversity on the one hand and the need for inclusivity on the other.
