Phil Riley, the former managing director of Heart FM in Birmingham, is to quit parent group Chrysalis Radio once its pounds 170 million takeover is complete.
Mr Riley, currently chief executive of Chrysalis Radio, has decided not to be part of Global Radio, which is chaired by former ITV chief executive Charles Allen and includes backing from Irish tycoons JP McManus and John Magnier.
