For her 86th birthday today, Ruth Molenkamp probably could use someone to clean her house in Rolling Meadows, pull those 5-foot thistles, mow her yard, fix her sheds, kill the fruit flies in her kitchen, pick up clutter, and miraculously find a buyer for her husband's inventory of old inventions that include "Hank's Ladder Stabilizer" and a steam-powered contraption designed to clean a smoker's pipe.
But her birthday probably will be just another day.
