Jul. 27--When Damien Groce decided to sign with the Destroyers this past offseason, the chance to team up with quarterback Matt Nagy wasn't the only factor that brought him back to Columbus.
"(The fans) are one of the reasons I came back here," said Groce, the Destroyers' leading receiver in 2005 before a season with the Arizona Rattlers. "Out of all the places I've been, Columbus fan support is unbelievable. Honestly, I'm not just saying this 'cause I play here, it's the best fan support in the league."
