The fate of Dakota Academy will be placed in a judge's hands Thursday during a hearing on whether the closure of the Burnsville charter school should proceed.

Last week, a Dakota County district judge ruled that the Minnesota Department of Education and a Rochester college had to temporarily halt the closure of the school.

In a ruling filed Wednesday, Judge Edward Lynch ordered the state Department of Education and Crossroads College, Dakota Academy's sponsor, to take no further action pending the outcome of tomorrow's hearing on ...
