Because I enter a large number of international photographic competitions, I needed a method for producing a number of copies of an original photograph, to a consistent standard and for a reasonable cost. This necessity was indeed the mother of invention, as I found a way to make the desired copies by creating master lith negatives, using a mezzotint contact screen.
