A walk down the dirt driveway into the Seeds of Solidarity Farm was all Jason Dragon needed to decide that his search for an apprenticeship was over.

Mr. Dragon, 23, a resident of Wayland, contacted the New England Farm Institute after graduating from Emmanuel College last year for a list of farms that offer apprenticeship programs.
