Jul. 13--For years, the northeast corner of Main and Trade streets in Burlington was mostly about cars and the people who drove them.
Soon it will be again.
In the 1960s, the Firestone store at 210 N. Main St. offered tires and appliances. Locals called it the Firestone building, says Don Boone, who owns Modern Linoleum & Tile, a Main Street flooring business a block to the east.
