The families of Michael Alfonso's victims waited years to hear him speak those words.

"I'm guilty," he finally admitted Wednesday. "I am."

The 38-year-old former Wheaton man was sentenced to three consecutive life prison terms for killing two ex-girlfriends - including one pregnant with his child - after they tried to end brief romances with him.
